Central Banks Prepare Coordinated Response to Crisis

On Friday, the US dollar closed with a decline against a basket of major currencies. The dollar index (#DX) closed in the red zone (-0.39%). Investors expect that amid the spread of coronavirus, the Fed and the ECB will have to cut interest rates to protect the economy from the effects of the virus, which led to a fall in global stocks last week. Haruhiko Kuroda, head of the Bank of Japan, said on Monday that the regulator would take all necessary measures to stabilize markets shocked by the outbreak of coronavirus.
